Officer, Career Development and Training (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 534605) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)  
 
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ full-time work experience. High proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, project management, and problem-solving skills. The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and pay attention to detail is crucial. Applicants should be self-motivated, reliable team players with a passion for working with students from diverse backgrounds and cultures. High-level computer literacy is required, including experience with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Power BI), Qualtrics forms, and data analysis tools.
 
The appointee will support the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of student employability and engagement initiatives. Key responsibilities include but not limited to the followings: 
 
• collaborating with managers to promote career development services, such as One-on-one Career Coaching and other online learning platforms;
 
• identifying opportunities to collect and analyze student employment data related to internships and graduate offers;
 
• managing Career Planning and Graduate Surveys, maintain master student lists, and analyze engagement data to help inform team decisions regarding events and service offerings;
 
• actively engaging with students at events such as Career Chat, Career Fair, and Career Weeks, addressing their career-related questions and encouraging them to utilize career development services; preparing and organizing promotional materials, supporting the completion of graduate surveys, and coordinating administrative and logistical tasks for career development events;
 
• liaising with students, employers, and other stakeholders to foster engagement and gather feedback for continual improvement; and 
 
• performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
 
This position is based at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a written test and an interview.  
 
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
