Administrative Assistant II (holding the functional title of Manager) at Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences (Ref.: 534629) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good university degree preferably in Marketing, Communications or Management, with at least 6 years’ relevant work experiences in higher education sector or a related field. They should have an excellent command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); outstanding organisational, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills; a high level of computer literacy. They should also have the capability to handle multiple tasks and work independently as well as in a team. Experience in managing social media platforms and event management would be an advantage.
The appointee will participate in formulating and executing plans to promote research events, activities and new/existing programmes at the Institute and manage various marketing channels, such as social media platforms, websites, e-publication, etc. to support the Institute’s development. The appointee will also provide executive support on a wide spectrum of tasks, including programme management, event coordination and general office administration; and perform any other duties as assigned. He/She may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
