Technical Officer (holding the functional title of Project Coordinator) in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 534874) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance).
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Health Science or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in clinical research administration, logistics, or community project support. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Experience in coordinating community-based health programs or multicentre clinical studies is required.
The appointee will support day-to-day coordination of participant recruitment, engagement activities, scheduling, and mobilization. Key responsibilities include participant communication and tracking, logistics coordination, administrative support, serving as the primary contact for participant inquiries, managing consent documentation and follow-up, and assisting with data collection and community engagement. The appointee will also provide comprehensive support to the Project Manager and study team, including administrative, technical, and analytical assistance across various project aspects. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
