Senior Student Affairs Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I) in the Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Ref. 535088) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefit scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance).

Applicants should have a recognized degree or diploma with at least 3 years’ work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good organizational and communication skills; the ability to work independently; be meticulous, attentive to details and a good team player.

The appointees will provide clerical support to the Manager and be responsible for the daily operations of the residences managed by Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS); assist with students’ move-in/move-out, maintenance and housekeeping concerns; and perform any other duties as assigned. The appointees may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Preference will be given to those with relevant student housing experience.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
