Pharmacist I/II (at the rank of Technical Manager/Assistant Technical Manager) in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref:536167) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with a Certificate of Registration and a valid Annual Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong, with at least 2 years’ relevant experience.  They should have good communication skills, and time management. Candidate with practical experience in regulatory compliance or clean room operation are preferred.

Job duties include handling of radionuclides or radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring radiation safety, overseeing the production of radiopharmaceuticals, performing quality-control testing, ensuring aseptic compounding of each radiopharmaceuticals, and updating protocols or guidelines. Those with less experience may be considered as Pharmacist II (at the rank of Assistant Technical Manager).

The appointee will work in the Radiopharmaceutical Production Centre. The appointee will follow and adhere to the standard operating procedures, and the legal requirements.  Adequate training in radiation safety will be provided before handling of radiopharmaceuticals.
