Full-time/Part-time Post-Doctoral Fellow in the Centre for Information Technology in Education within the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 536636 ).
To commence from September 1, 2026 to August 31, 2027.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in education, social sciences, STEAM or science education, artificial intelligence, or a related discipline, with experience in analysing survey and assessment data. Familiarity with the literature on digital literacy and factors influencing students’ educational achievement is a strong advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in managing and analysing large scale quantitative research using advanced statistical methods such as multiple linear regression, mediation analysis, multilevel modelling, and latent variable models. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential. Candidates must demonstrate high proficiency in English writing and be capable of communicating research findings effectively to both academic and general audiences. He/She should be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

The appointee will work on a project on STEAM education, artificial intelligence, and transformative leadership. He/She will work closely with the Principal Investigator and the project team to conduct research in a predominantly independent manner, investigating areas related to the teaching and learning of STEAM and artificial intelligence, multilevel leadership and related fields. Responsibilities include:
1. research design and development of instruments;
2. data collection, management, analysis and interpretation;
3. drafting project proposals and reports;
4. preparing publications for peer reviewed journals and books;
5. liaising with project schools, professional bodies and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of research activities; and
6. assisting the project team with the implementation of the project, development of project deliverables, and administrative and promotional tasks related to the project.
