Executive Officer in the Faculty of Dentistry (2 posts) (Ref.: 536962)
We are looking for 2 Executive Officers to join the Faculty of Dentistry to provide comprehensive administrative support for undergraduate programme management.
The Role
The appointees will play a key role in managing and supporting undergraduate programme administration, including but not limited to the following areas:
- Planning, administration and revision of existing programmes and curricula;
- Development and coordination of new undergraduate programmes and articulation programmes;
- Design and support for students’ international capstone experience trips and enrichment activities;
- Academic reviews, accreditation exercises and quality assurance processes;
- Assessment-related and student-related matters;
- Student admissions and registration;
- Secretarial support to committees and working groups;
- Dental Internship Programme; and
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Qualities
- A Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in tertiary education institutions;
- Strong organisational, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Mature with a strong sense of responsibility;
- Meticulous, self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively;
- An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant computer software; and
- Experience in undergraduate programme administration and academic reviews is preferred.
What We Offer
The appointment will be made on temporary full-time contract for 1 year, to commence as soon as possible, with the possibility of renewal subject to operational needs, satisfactory performance and funding availability.
