Research Assistant II in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 537002)

 

Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant II in the Department of Psychology (Ref.: 537002) to commence on November 1, 2026 for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

 

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in Psychology, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills; strong skills and knowledge in using statistical software such as SPSS and R; be self-motivated, responsible and able to work independently and as a team. Those with experience in working with parents or at educational settings are preferred.

 

The appointee will work on various projects related to mindfulness and mental health. He/she will be responsible for participant recruitment, data collection, liaising with external parties, coordination of intervention and research activities, supervision of research interns, data processing, and other research-related duties as assigned.

 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered for the full-time post, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
