Applications are invited for appointment as Senior Executive Assistant/ Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref: 537368), to commence on November 1, 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter, on full-time or part-time basis for a temporary term of 6 months.

 

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree with at least 2-4 years of administrative experience, preferably in the tertiary education sector;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
  • Strong sense of responsibility and be attentive to details;
  • Good interpersonal, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
  • Proficiency in IT especially in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with an intermediate level of artificial intelligence literacy.

Applicants with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for the appointment of Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II).

 

Responsibilities

The appointee will provide a wide range of administrative and clerical support to the Student Team on undergraduate curricula, including handling admissions, student matters, day-to-day enquiries, and assisting in programme administration; providing general support to committees; supporting academic activities and events; and performing any other duties as assigned.
