Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 499496) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess an M.Phil. or a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or a related discipline. They should have good communication skills; be highly-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Previous experience in cell culture, molecular biology, or animal handling is required. Those with a strong interest in neuroscience and plan to pursue graduate research would have an advantage. The appointee will work with Dr. K.O. Lai in studying the cell biology of neuron during synapse development and the mechanisms of brain disorders.
