Project Officer (at the rank of Executive Officer) in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 500197) (to commence as soon as possible on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal)

The appointees will participate in a 4.5-year large-scale multidisciplinary research and community youth mental health project. It is Hong Kong’s first territory-wide initiative to build a youth-specific and youth-friendly mental health platform that provides timely preventive intervention to youth with distress and risk for mental health deterioration. The project will transform current youth services and provide a framework for future developments in youth mental health and youth-focused services both locally and internationally.

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years’ work experience. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of mental health and multimedia editing is an advantage.

The appointee will work closely with the team to plan and develop a capacity building training programme for social workers of NGO partners. He/She will coordinate training events, prepare and disseminate training materials, prepare annotated videos from Skills Lab training, and perform other duties as assigned. Those who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref.: 499636) need not re-apply.
