Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 500370), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years.
Applicants should possess a doctoral degree by research (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Psychology, Education, Public Health, or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; strong communication skills; a track record of publishing academic research papers; and the ability to perform quantitative research and statistical analysis, and manage large-scale database. They should be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in at least one statistical software package (e.g. SPSS, Stata, SAS, R, Mplus) is required.
The appointee will work with a team on a large scale outreach dental service to kindergarten children. He/She will conduct research, plan and lead projects, prepare manuscripts and reports, and perform other research-related duties as assigned.
