Full-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 500607) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in public health, social sciences, or related disciplines, with at least 3 years’ experience in mental healthcare, or working with local mental health-related hotlines. Registered clinical psychologists and social workers are preferred. Applicants should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good communication skills. They should be responsible, mature, and calm in stressful circumstances. Knowledge of the mental health services in Hong Kong will be an advantage. Experience in crisis management and working with people with emotional problems is highly preferred. Those with less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant I/II.

The appointees will assist the team in conducting mental health assessments and providing support to study participants who exhibit signs of distress. Irregular working hours will be required. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
