Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I/II in the Faculty of Dentistry (Ref.: 501765) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Public Health, Statistics, Economics, Dentistry or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. They should also be self-motivated, organized, responsible, mature, and attentive to details. Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and analytical tools including Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) would be advantageous. Preference will be given to those who have an interest in pursuing further M.Phil./Ph.D. studies.
The appointee will play a key role in the evaluation of a large-scale oral health project in kindergartens, particularly in the economic aspect. He/She will be responsible for literature review; research models development, review and enhancement; data collection, analysis and management; preparation of reports and publications; liaison and cooperation with various parties; and performing other duties as assigned.
