Research Assistant II in the Centre for Psycho-oncology Research & Teaching and the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 502071) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in psychology, social sciences or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good telephone manner, and knowledge of basic statistics. They should be self-motivated, hardworking, and able to work well in a team. Experience in conducting interviews, and using SPSS for data analysis and file management is highly preferred. A keen interest in research would be an advantage.
The appointee will conduct telephone interviews with cancer patients in clinical settings, and assist in data collection and analysis.
