Executive Officer (holding the functional title of Manager) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 502181) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business-related subjects with around 6 years’ work experience, out of which at least 3 years should be in marketing or client servicing with event management experience in the commercial and business setting. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua and Cantonese), and be able to proof read and edit English and Chinese articles. They should also have strong customer service and project management skills; good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills; branding and marketing skills; the ability to build relationships at all levels in the private, public and government sectors; the ability to work independently with entrepreneur spirit and under pressure, and to perform multiple tasks under tight deadlines; a positive attitude; a detail-oriented mindset; basic skills or some knowledge of graphic design; and a high level of computer proficiency. They should be a good team player with prior experience in supervising or leading a team.
The appointee will support the Faculty’s development in the Executive Education portfolio, including programme development, marketing and execution. A good knowledge of executive education programmes in the Asian market and sound network with the business sector would definitely be an advantage. He/She will work at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus.
