Research Assistant II in the Department of Psychiatry (Ref.: 502313) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences or related disciplines. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including fluent Cantonese), good communication and interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to high quality research, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the will to persist and persevere through challenges. Graduate research experience/degree or the plan to pursue graduate research would be an advantage.
The appointee will participate in the Hong Kong Youth Epidemiological Study – Subclinical Psychotic Symptoms (HKYES-PS), and research projects related to early psychosis and bipolar disorder. He/She will conduct clinical interviews, standard neurocognitive assessments and computerized cognitive experimental paradigms with participants; assist in processing neuroimages; coordinate research projects; and input, manage and analyze research data.
