IT Technician (holding the functional title of Programmer) in the Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning (CETL) (Ref.: 502648) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance) 

Applicants should possess a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Cantonese; good communication and organizational skills; the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and initiatives; proficiency in PC and software applications; good programming skills on JavaScript (jQuery), HTML5, CSS3 and PHP; knowledge of MongoDB, Node.js, Apache with SSL, Xcode and Android Studio; and familiarity with the use of open source, Linux and macOS commands. Those with experience in system and mobile application development are preferred. They should also be a good team player and self-motivated. Fresh graduate with knowledge of the above will also be considered.

The appointee will assist in collecting user requirements, design, develop and maintain a social media computer system with client platforms on web browsers, iOS and Android mobile phones.
