Research Assistant II in the Division of Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery and the Division of Liver Transplantation of the Department of Surgery (Ref.: 503348) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree or above in biology, medical science, social science, public health or a related discipline, preferably with relevant experience in a medicine-­related field. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills; and IT proficiency. The appointee will participate in research mainly related to liver cancer and liver transplantation. He/She will collect data, coordinate projects, contact patients, and handle specimens at HKU and various hospitals.
