IT Officer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 503791) (to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, informatics or a related discipline. They should have solid experience in web development using one or more of the programming languages (e.g. PHP, Vuejs, Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, HTML, CSS); Linux application server setup and administration; and interactive and innovative mobile apps development (e.g. native, flutter or react native). They should have good problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work under tight schedule. Competence in Laravel and Vuetify will be an advantage.
The appointee will mainly assist in the development and maintenance of a web-based interface and backend server of an Information and Communications Technology (ICT) related project. He/She will collect data, provide on-site technical support for the equipment and servers, and perform other duties as assigned.
