Applications are invited for appointment as Administrative Assistant I/II (AAI/II) (3 posts) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 504051), to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above with at least 8 years’ team leadership experience in the higher education sector or a public/quasi-public organization. They should be competent communicators with an excellent command of English and Chinese; be self-motivated with strong strategic awareness and able to work proficiently with significant independence; and possess a high level of organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as AAII.
The appointees will play a versatile role in leading junior executive and clerical staff to support the Faculty’s administration in one or more of the following areas: (a) human resources; (b) staff training and development; (c) organizational development; (d) teaching and learning; (e) student support & services; (f) committee support; and (g) general services. Working outside office hours and on weekends may be required occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointments will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for AAI, or up to 10% of basic salary for AAII.
