Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in Japanese language pedagogy or other relevant fields with normally at least 3 years’ experience in teaching Japanese as a foreign language at all levels in tertiary education. They should also be conversant with current trends in language teaching and assessment method, and possess native/near-native fluency in Japanese and good communication skills in English. The appointee is expected to teach a range of language courses at various levels, to develop new courses, and to design original teaching materials and various procedures of assessment.
