Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Division of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health (Ref.: 519068) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in public health, nursing, preventive medicine, or a discipline related to biomedical science. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (particularly Cantonese), and a keen interest in epidemiology and public health research. They should be responsible, hardworking, self-motivated, organized, detail-minded, and able to work independently and as a team. Knowledge of microbiology particularly antimicrobial resistance and experience in conducting fieldwork are highly preferred. Relevant research experience would be an advantage. Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be appointed as Research Assistant II.

The appointees will assist in a range of ongoing community-based research projects, including preparing study materials, participant recruitment, conducting health education, sample collection, data analysis, and other duties as assigned.
