Student Affairs Assistant I (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Campus Life Section of Centre of Development and Resources for Students (Several posts) (Ref: 523744) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should have a recognised Associate Degree or above, with 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. The ideal candidates for this position must be energetic, enthusiastic, and fully committed to delivering an exceptional student experience. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational and communication skills; the ability to work independently, flexibly and handle multiple tasks. Excellent team-working skills, the ability to organize events, attention to details, and self-motivation are also required. IT Proficiency in Social Media, MS Office, database, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop would be a definite advantage.

The appointees will:

  • Provide support to student services, student development programmes and campus-wide event;
  • Perform administrative duties to support student services and programmes;
  • Serve as the initial point of contact and promptly respond to student inquiries;
  • Design, produce and disseminate information, including social media, posters and emails;
  • Cover the reception desk as required during office hours;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
