Applications are invited for appointments as Research Assistant in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref: 524213), to commence as soon as possible for two year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in materials science, mechanics, mechanical engineering or related disciplines. The appointee should be able to work independently and as a team with the ability to handle multi-tasks and be attentive to details. Excellent communication skills of spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese) is required.
The appointee will be responsible for the operation of various research projects, including but not limited to procurement, reimbursement and documentation. The appointee will also assist the lab PI in scheduling academic meeting(s), business trip(s), and other related agendas, coordinate with other research institutes upon the request of PI, and perform other laboratory duties as assigned.
