Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) (several posts) in the Department of Surgery, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 526245) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 2 to 3 years’ solid work experience, preferably in a field related to medicine or education. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good IT knowledge, in particular, competence in MS Office including Chinese word processing; strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills; and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. They should also be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks efficiently to produce quality outputs under pressure and tight deadlines.

The appointees will be responsible for the coordination of undergraduate teaching activities or organization of training workshops, conferences and events. They may also assist in general office administration and perform other duties as assigned. Working outside office hours and on weekends may be required. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
