Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 526271)

We are looking for a Senior Executive Assistant or an Executive Assistant to join the HR Team of the LKS Faculty of Medicine.

The Role

The appointee will assist in a wide range of clerical/administrative work in relation to human resources operations, particularly in the areas of academic staff appointments and tenure/promotion exercises; and perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications and Qualities

  • A recognized Bachelor’s degree;
  • At least 3 years’ solid work experience in office administration, preferably in a tertiary institution;
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
  • An appropriate level of IT skills (especially in MS Excel and PowerPoint); and
  • Ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work with minimal supervision and under pressure to meet tight deadlines are essential.

Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. Applicants who have responded to the previous advertisement (Ref: 524258) need not re-apply.   

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
