Research Assistant I/II in the Bau Institute of Medical and Health Sciences Education (Ref.: 526671) (to commence as soon as possible for 12 months, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join the Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Practice (IPECP) team. The successful candidate will contribute to our ongoing teaching and research activities.

Qualifications:

  1. A Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in education, social sciences, psychology, or related disciplines;
  2. Prior experience and a strong interest in programme coordination and research are highly desirable;
  3. Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills;
  4. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese);
  5. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; and
  6. Proficiency in research technique tools for conducting quantitative (e.g., SPSS/Stata) and qualitative (e.g., MAXQDA/NVivo) analyses would be an advantage.

Those with lower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered as Research Assistant II.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct literature reviews relevant to the research project;
  2. Assist in data collection, ensuring accuracy and adherence to research protocols;
  3. Perform data analysis and management using appropriate software;
  4. Contribute to the preparation of project reports and research publications;
  5. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth project implementation; and
  6. Fulfill other duties as assigned.
