Senior Research Assistant/Research Assistant I in the Centre on Behavioral Health within the Faculty of Social Sciences (Ref.:526681)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects including literature review, data collection, data management and data analysis, report and manuscript write up, and project administration
  • perform other duties as assigned by the supervisors

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Sciences or a related discipline with at least 3 year’s post-qualification work experience in social sciences-related research
  • Basic knowledge in or prior exposure to data analysis, and project management is also preferred
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Good organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good work ethics, and strong sense of responsibility
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge and interest in the areas of behavioral health, holistic care, mind-body medicine is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in neurophysiology research is an additional advantage
  • Applicants with more experience or higher qualifications may be appointed as Senior Research Assistant

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
