Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in Antibody Production and Characterization in the Department of Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine and the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (Ref.: 526761)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • develop and validate innovative antibodies for research, diagnostic or therapeutic applications
  • perform other duties as assigned
  • 5.5 workday per week is required

Requirements

  • a Bachelor’s degree or above in Biology, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • experience in generation and characterization of monoclonal or polyclonal antibodies is preferred

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis or 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
