IT Technician/Senior IT Assistant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 527054) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should have a recognized diploma or above in Information Technology (IT) or related disciplines; OR 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C of Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE, with 5 years’ relevant experience. They should have keen interest in IT and audio-visual fields, and excellent problem-solving skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Those with more experiences and/or higher qualifications may be considered for appointment as IT Technician.

The appointee will provide IT and audio-visual support to the department, including online meeting support, control of audio-visual system in classroom, website content maintenance, as well as photography taking and video shooting in clinical and non-clinical areas. He/She will provide on-site IT technical support to various courses, workshops, events/conferences of the department. On-the-job training will be provided. Working in evenings and on weekends may be required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
