Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref: 527086) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Biology/Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Immunology, or related disciplines. Experience in bacterial and fungal diagnostics, molecular techniques, bioinformatics, and/or animal work will be an advantage. Applicants should be self-motivated and determined with good organisational skills, the ability to multi-task, and work in a team. Preference will be given to those who have an interest in pursuing further MPhil/ PhD studies. The appointee will be involved in research projects related to antimicrobial resistance, fungal diagnostics, and host immunity under the supervision of Dr. Xin Li.
