Applications are invited for appointment as Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk II) in Research Services of the Registry (Ref.: 527219), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of post-qualification secretarial and/or administrative experience, preferably in the education sector.  They should have excellent communication and organisational skills, a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, appropriate IT knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.  They should also be meticulous, self-motivated, responsible, and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.  Experience/knowledge in basic graphic design would be an advantage.

The appointee will assist in a wide range of clerical/administrative duties in relation to research grants, funding schemes, awards, research integrity and ethics, including but not limited to data entry and database management, applications vetting, internal and external liaison, meeting arrangements and event support.  He/She would also provide support in the daily office operations. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written and skills tests.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
