Nurse (holding the functional title of Project Manager) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 528703), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in relevant areas or in management, and be registered with the Nursing Council of Hong Kong, with extensive clinical working experience. They should be able to work independently and in a team. They should also have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese) as well as good communication skills. Knowledge and experience of offering nursing interventions and primary health care services in the clinical area or community will be an advantage.
The appointee will contribute to project management in a research project on nursing leadership, nursing practice, and nursing education related fields for nursing professionals in Hong Kong. He/She will be responsible for curriculum development, design and planning, monitoring participating nursing fellows’ learning outcomes, coordinating with institutions and universities providing overseas immersions and clinical visits to nursing fellows, facilitating various nursing development activities and workshops, organizing the trainings and manuals for nursing professionals, monitoring milestones and reviewing knowledge exchanges among fellows, writing progress and evaluation reports, handling general administrative and logistical duties as needed, and performing any other duties as assigned. Travels to overseas countries and irregular working hours on weekends will be required occasionally.
