Senior Research Assistant or Research Assistant I/II in the Division of Behavioural Sciences of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 528705) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants who apply for Research Assistant I/II should have a Bachelor's degree or above in public health, psychology, nursing, social science, or other related disciplines. Applicants who apply for Senior Research Assistant should have a Ph.D degree, or a Master’s degree plus 1 year’s post-qualification experience. They should have a good command of English and Cantonese, good interpersonal and communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and be self-motivated and hard-working. Experience in conducting survey, behavioural interventions or qualitative interviews, competence in analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and good computer skills will be advantages. 

The appointee will assist in research projects on pandemic psycho-behavioural responses and communication, sustainable food consumption, eating behaviours, climate change, vaccine hesitancy and other behavioural health-related projects. Specifically, he/she will help test study instruments, implement psychological and behavioural interventions, conduct questionnaire-based surveys, analyze data, and perform other duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview.
