HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute, a strategic collaboration between The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC), aspires to establish as a world-class hub for Environmental, Social, and Governance best practices for Hong Kong, Asia and beyond. Bringing together distinguished global scholars from diverse fields, our mission is to foster a multidisciplinary approach to ESG research and training, as well as to forge partnerships with private and public sectors for sustainability initiatives and responsible leadership advocacy.

Applicants should possess a good bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years' full-time work experience, preferably in events management, public relations, communications, or a related field. They should have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), strong organisational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the planning, organisation and execution of events and activities for the Institute
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and successful events
  • Supporting the team in public relations, communications, and outreach activities
  • Creating and managing content for the Institute's website, social media, and other communication channels
  • Assisting in the preparation of promotional materials, press releases, and newsletters
  • Providing administrative support for various projects and initiatives; and
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management.

The successful candidate will be required to work at the HKU campus and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends, and might travel to Mainland China and abroad occasionally. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview and/or written test.
