Executive Officer in the Department of Psychiatry, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.:528807) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, Instructional Design, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and proven experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in the fields of mental health or social work. They should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of instructional design principles and learning theories, and proficiency in using educational technologies and e-learning platforms. Applicants should also have excellent project management and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals. Experience in promoting mental health literacy or working within the social work sector will be desirable.

The appointee will design and develop a comprehensive curriculum focused on mental health literacy for social workers, collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance, and implement instructional design principles to create engaging and effective learning experiences. The appointee will also utilize various educational technologies and platforms to deliver the curriculum and provide training and support to educators and facilitators.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
