IT Manager in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 528847) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other related disciplines with at least 8 years’ relevant solution implementation experience in IT. They should have practical experience with (i) web development; (ii) mobile app development; (iii) data hub/data lake; (iv) data visualisation; and (v) IT operations and incident management. Familiar with OutSystems, Tableau, MongoDB Enterprise, Sitecore, Next.js, PHP, and Inspera would be an advantage. Applicants should have excellent people management, communication, and interpersonal skills; and an excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a language aptitude assessment.

The appointee will provide technology vision and leadership in the digital solution and implementation regarding solution architecture, data architecture, security, scalability, and performance.  He/She will also design and implement security controls, data resilience, and data recovery measures.  Other duties include managing the performance of external contractors, designing procurement strategy (such as evaluation criteria, procurement timeline, proposed tenderer list, tender briefing, and other relevant tendering activities, etc.), preparing and evaluating tender documents and proposals, conducting technical feasibility studies, and identifying potential supplier risks.
