Senior Technical Officer/Assistant Technical Manager (holding the functional title of Senior Project Officer/Assistant Project Manager) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 528924), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basis salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 5 years of work experience, preferably in the higher education sector. They should have a good command of English and Chinese, effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, and IT competence. They should be attentive to details, self-motivated, and able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently. They should have a strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude. Related work experience in general administration and financial management would be an advantage.
The appointee will provide executive support to Project Investigator on a wide spectrum of tasks, including but not limited to research project management, academic programme management, liaison with internal and external stakeholders, event coordination and management, committee support, student support services, general office administration, secretarial support, and perform other duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
