Main Responsibilities

  • Provide a full spectrum of secretarial, financial and administrative support to doctors;
  • Arrange and coordinate appointments, meetings and clinical consultations;
  • Attend meetings with doctors and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, postgraduate students and patients to ensure all tasks are on track;
  • Prepare and draft correspondences, reports, minutes, meeting material, agenda and presentations with a high level of attention to details;
  • Provide support to clinical fellowship programme, visits from overseas professors and research grant applications;
  • Manage doctors’ emails, and answer and screen phone calls; and
  • Handle travel arrangements for business trips, including flights, hotel & accommodation, itinerary planning and visa application.

Requirements

  • A higher diploma or above;
  • At least 3 years’ relevant work experience;
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality;
  • Strong multitasking skills and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines; and
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including both Cantonese and Putonghua)

Those with less experience may be considered for the post of Secretary II. 

What We Offer

The appointment will be made on fixed-term full-time contract for 2 years, to commence as soon as possible with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.  A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary.  Other benefits include annual leave and medical benefits.
