Part-time Phlebotomist (at the rank of Laboratory Assistant) in the Department of Ophthalmology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 529972) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Form 5 and be a registered phlebotomist in Hong Kong. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), and good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be responsible, highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Those with at least 1 year’s experience in phlebotomy or experience in community-based research studies are highly preferred.
The appointee will be responsible for working on the large-scale community-based screening project in various districts. He/She will mainly support the clinical services to be held on weekends, perform venipuncture, handle biological specimens of participants, assist in general administrative work and perform other duties as assigned.
