Research Officer (holding the functional title of Assistant Project Manager) in the Faculty of Education (Ref.: 530041) (to commence as soon as possible to 31 August 2026)

Applicants should possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with 5 years of post-qualification full-time working experience, OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of post-qualification full-time working experience, OR a PhD with 1 year of post-qualification full-time working experience, preferably in the field of educational projects.  Preference will be given to those with experience in working with schools and teachers, teachers’ professional development and/or e-learning practice. They should have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.  The applicants should be able to complete multiple assignments concurrently while balancing priorities and meeting deadlines; have the ability to work independently and as a team; and the capacity to work under pressure and multi-task. Advanced computer skills are highly preferred. 

The appointee will work on a project on learner diversity, with a focus on differentiated instruction, and be primarily engaged in project-related activities. The appointee will be responsible for coordinating the work within the team; providing administrative and managerial support; coordination among schools, team members and across teams; supporting the development of and managing an online educational platform; assisting in implementing and evaluating project initiative and activities; organizing events, functions, visits; assisting in the preparation of promotional and dissemination events and materials; assisting in daily operation and other duties as assigned by supervisor(s). Immediate availability is preferred, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
