Clerk II in the Safety Office (Ref.: 530046) (to commence immediately, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. Grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics; OR min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, preferably with a Diploma in Commercial Design and at least 2 years' relevant work experience.  They should have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; and IT proficiency.  They should also be a good team player; attentive to details; self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility; and able to work independently.

The appointee will provide administrative and clerical support to the general office and other safety office teams; providing reception, IT support and counter services until 6pm. In particular, the appointee will be responsible for designing a wide range of presentational materials, certificates and the website of the Safety Office and updating information on the website. Familiarity with Wix is required. The appointee will also help organise training programmes and events; answer phone enquiries; and perform other duties as required.
