Administrative Assistant II, Research Centre Administration in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530216) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 5 years’ full-time work experience and versatility in both administrative and project management.  They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good organisational, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; IT proficiency; and the ability to multitask as well as work well both in a team and independently with a high level of initiative. 

The appointee will provide administrative and project management support for the Faculty’s research centres/institutes.  He/She will provide secretarial support to various boards, committees, taskforces and working groups; organize academic, business and outreach events such as visits, forums, seminars, symposia and conferences; prepare annual plans, presentation materials, and other forms of reports and documents; and perform any other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test and an interview. 

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
