Research Assistant I/II (several posts) in the Department of Social Work & Social Administration (Ref.: 530221) (to commence as soon as possible, on a one-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or above in Social Work, Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines, preferably with at least 1-year work experience or further studies in applied psychology, healthcare, technology. Applications with relevant research and project experience will be prioritized. They should also have experience in conducting quantitative and qualitative data analyses, adequate knowledge in using statistical software (e.g.,SPSS, R, Stata), and a good command of written English and Chinese as well as spoken English and Cantonese. Those with interest in the topics of bereavement, public health and end-of-life care are preferred. 

The appointees will be responsible for data collection, management and analysis, management of the project, events and activities support, as well as other duties as assigned, which will give them greater exposure to the field. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical/dental benefits, etc.
