Administrative Assistant II in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 530258) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree or above, with at least 4 years’ relevant administrative and management experience.  They should be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and under pressure, and multi-task.  An excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good interpersonal and organisation skills, good computer literacy and attentiveness to details are essential qualities.  Experience in the administration of research postgraduate studies in tertiary institutions would be an advantage.

The appointee will oversee the administration of research postgraduate programmes in the Faculty.  He/she is required to provide secretarial support to committees; liaise with the Graduate School on matters related to admissions, coursework, examination, and student matters; ensure good management, accuracy, and compliance with regulations and procedures when dealing with both routine and special student cases; prepare various reports and statistical information; organise promotional and outreach activities; supervise support staff; and perform any other duties as assigned.
