Applications are invited for appointment as Assistant Registrar/Administrative Assistant I (several posts) in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 530310), to commence as soon as possible, on a two- to three-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Application should possess a good first Bachelor’s degree, with relevant academic and professional training related to the areas of duties and/or recognized professional qualifications, plus at least 8 to 10 year’s professional experience in a public/quasi-public organization or a related sector, preferably with a higher degree. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, be mature and meticulous, self-motivated, and a good team player with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to work on their own initiative. Commitment to quality and results, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, professional work attitude and a high level of computer literacy are essential qualities for the post. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment as Administrative Assistant I.
The appointees will work on a territory-wide youth mental health project, with the aim to provide evidence-based information for early detection, management, prevention of youth suicide and mental health disorders, and promotion of resilience and mental wellbeing in Hong Kong. They will maintain close communication and liaison with stakeholders; manage the communications team; publicity and engagement; knowledge dissemination and exchange; coordinate with NGO partners and key stakeholders project management; and perform other duties as assigned.
