Part-time Research Assistant I in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.:530464) (January – May 2025, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Sciences, Social Work, Psychology, Journalism, Counselling, Criminology, Statistics or related disciplines, with at least one-year research experience. Those with interest in the topics of sexual minority health are preferred. They should have a high proficiency in English and Chinese (including Cantonese) and good communication skills. They should be competent in quantitative analysis and experienced in using statistical software (e.g. STATA and SPSS). They should also have a strong sense of responsibility; good organizational and interpersonal skill; ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties. 

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in managing research projects and be responsible for data collection, data analysis, preparation of presentations, drafting proposal and reports, and performing any other duties as assigned. The appointee will have ample opportunities to gain hands-on experience in research involving socially vulnerable populations. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.

A highly competitive compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
