Executive Officer in the Department of Clinical Oncology, Centre of Cancer Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 531442) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in the higher education sector. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills; meticulous attention to details, strong sense of ownership and the ability to work under pressure. They should be good team players and self-starters who work independently without close supervision. A high level of computer literacy would be advantageous.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the Department, including human resources, finance, office administration, research administration and event coordination; supervise supporting staff; and perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
