Accounting Executive, Finance (at the rank of Clerk II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 531544) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should have completed Form 7 or above, with at least 15 years’ work experience in handling finance matters in the tertiary education sector. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, computer literacy, and the ability to multitask under pressure and work independently as well as in a team. They should also be mature, detail-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility. Those with high sensitivity to numbers are preferred.
The appointee will provide administrative support to the finance management of the Faculty’s centres located overseas, including preparing purchase orders and processing payment invoices, data input and budgetary control matters. He/She will also perform other general clerical duties as assigned. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
